The Commission has received an application for a permit for the North West Transmission Upgrades major infrastructure project.
The application is for the section of the major infrastructure project from Palmerston to Sheffield, Sheffield to Burnie via a spur line to Heybridge, Burnie to East Cam, East Cam to Hampshire, and includes the substation at Hampshire as well as associated ancillary facilities.
The Panel will first determine if any additional information is required to assess the application against the planning criteria. Once all additional information is submitted to the satisfaction of the Panel, the application will proceed to exhibition.
