Under section 29 of the State Policies and Projects Act 1993 the Commission must produce a consolidated State of the Environment (SoE) Report every five years.
This Act also requires that the SoE Report must include:
- the condition of the environment;
- trends and changes in the environment;
- the achievement of resource management objectives; and
- recommendations for future action to be taken in relation to the management of the environment.
