Tasmanian Planning Scheme
- Search Tasmanian Planning Scheme - Past Versions to find archived versions of the Tasmanian Planning Scheme including State Planning Provisions and Local Provision Schedules.
Other planning schemes
- Search the Tasmanian Law Library Catalogue to find archived versions of interim planning schemes and associated overlays and maps. The Catalogue includes the versions in force prior to the Tasmanian Planning Scheme taking effect.
- Older versions of interim planning schemes can be requested in writing from the Tasmanian Planning Commission.
Commission decisions
- Archived decisions available online include decisions relating to planning scheme amendments, local provision schedule approvals, local provision schedule amendments, major infrastructure development projects and major projects.
- Recent decisions can be found by searching Current assessments and hearings on the Commission’s website.
- Decisions to grant major project permits are available under Major Project permits on the Commission’s website along with plans and reports endorsed under the permit.
- Decisions published since 2009 can be found by searching the austlii website.
Commission reports
- Archived reports available online include State Planning Provisions assessment reports, planning directive reports, draft water management plan review reports and draft reserve management plan review reports.
- Reports published since 2015 can be found by searching the Tasmanian Law Library Catalogue.
- Reports published prior to 2015 are available at the State library.
Other information - previous hearings
- Documentation submitted to a Commission hearing that was previously made public on the Commission’s website, may be sought from the Commission. The request must be accompanied by the reason for accessing the documentation.
