The Minister for Planning has made amendment 05-2025 to the State Planning Provisions (SPPs).
The amendment clarifies that roadsides, referred to in the road works exemption in clause 4.2.4(b) of the SPPs includes noise attenuation walls, water management and fauna controls works.
The amendment to the SPPs is effective from Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
