The Commission has recently issued the following delegations:
Draft amendment 01-25 to the State Coastal Policy 1996
- Draft amendment 01-25 to the State Policy proposes to amend Outcome 1.4.1 and 1.4.2 of the Policy and insert a new definition for the term ‘tolerable risk’, to allow consideration of appropriate development to occur on actively mobile landforms. The modifications to Outcome 1.4.1 aim to establish consistency and clarification of the policy setting. The changes to Outcome 1.4.2 aim to remove the prohibition of development and introduce a performance-based policy response that allows certain use and development to be considered, provided it can demonstrate compliance with certain criteria.

Tasmanian Planning Scheme - Launceston - Draft amendment PSA-LLP0030
- The draft amendment proposes to apply the Rural Zone and Natural Assets Code - Priority Vegetation Area overlay (see Figure 2) to part of 43 Los Angelos Road (also known as 729-739 John Lees Drive), Dilston folio of the Register 165889/1.

Amendment - RZ 2025/02
Description - Delete BRI-S11.8.2 P1.2 ‘Council’s adopted Key Infrastructure Investments and Defined Infrastructure Charges policy that is relevant to the land.’ and replace with ‘Council’s adopted Infrastructure Contributions Policy that is relevant to the land.’
Replace figure BRI-S11.2 The South Brighton Specific Area Plan Development Framework with an amended figure BRI-S11.2.

- Tasmanian Planning Scheme - Glenorchy
Amendment - AMD 2-2024
Description - various modifications to the GLEC6.0 Local Historic Heritage Code tables and overlays, the deletion of a site-specific qualification and the removal of a document from the GLE Applied, Adopted or Incorporated Documents table.

Withdrawal of Northern Midlands draft amendment 13-2024
- The draft amendment proposed to apply the Flood-prone Areas Hazard overlay to land in Campbell Town, Perth and Ross.
The planning authority advised the Commission it decided to withdraw the draft amendment under section 40E of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993.
The withdrawal took effect on Tuesday 25 August 2025. The Commission has therefore closed its file on the assessment.
