The Minister for Planning has issued interim amendment 01-2024 to the State Planning Provisions (SPPs).
The interim amendment to the SPPs is effective from Wednesday, 23 October 2024. It clarifies the interpretation and operation of the exemptions in the Landslip Hazard Code, and the relationship between the SPPs and the Building Act 2016 for the Landslip Hazard Code, Coastal Erosion Hazard Code, and Coastal Inundation Hazard Code.
