The Commission has recently issued the following delegations:
State Planning Provisions - Hazard Codes - AM-SPP-01-2024
- The draft amendment 01-2024 of the State Planning Provisions (SPPs) proposes to clarify the interpretation and operation of the exemptions in the Landslip Hazard Code, and the relationship between the SPPs and the Building Act 2016 for the Landslip Hazard Code, Coastal Erosion Hazard Code and Coastal Inundation Hazard Code.

State Planning Provisions - Minor Amendment - AM-SPP-03-2024
- The draft amendment of the SPPs proposes a minor amendment of the SPPs, and proposes to:
- clarify the operational requirements relating to the Use Class for Domestic Animal Breeding, Boarding or Training;
- clarify the assessment of an application for discretionary use or development;
- clarify operation of an exemption and remove potential inconsistencies related to vegetation removal approved under a forest practices plan;
- align the SPPs with Planning Directive No. 10 - Exemption for Display Homes (PD10) that the former Minister for Planning determined; and
- clarify operation of the Attenuation Code.

State Planning Provisions - Agriculture Worker Accommodation - AM-SPP-05-2024
- The draft amendment of the SPPs proposes to improve the requirements in the Rural Zone and Agriculture Zone for the assessment of agricultural worker accommodation.

Development Assessment Panel for the Bell Bay Wind Farm major project assessment
- The Commission resolved to appoint Pam Allan (Chairperson), Michael Hogan, Louise Gilfedder and Alex Brownlie as members to be the Development Assessment Panel for the Bell Bay Wind Farm major project.

Derwent Valley Interim Planning Scheme 2015 - AP-DER-PSA-2024-01 & DA2024-058
- The draft amendment proposes to insert the Manufacturing and Processing Use Class in the Permitted section of the Significant Agriculture Zone Use Table for metal fabrication at 2205 Lyell Highway, Hayes and with access over 2203 Lyell Highway, Hayes. The draft permit DA2024-058 provides for a change of use to Manufacturing and Processing at 2205 Lyell Highway, Hayes.
