Tony Ferrier - Senior Planning Consultant (Casual) and Delegate
Tony Ferrier was appointed as a Senior Planning Consultant (Casual) on 6 February 2023 and will join the Commission Panel of Delegates. Tony has a Bachelor of Surveying degree (UNSW) and graduate diplomas in Urban and Regional Planning and Natural Resources (both UNE). He has had 20 years’ experience in NSW in land surveying and management and then 25 years in local government in Tasmania, where he was primarily involved in and responsible for a broad range of strategic and statutory land use planning matters. He was the Deputy Chair of the EPA Board from 2015 to 2020 and is currently a member of the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board. In 2021 he was engaged as a consultant by the Department of State Growth to prepare the draft Greater Hobart Plan.
