  • Tasmanian Planning Scheme - Central Coast - AP CCO-LPS2022003 and permit DA2022107

    The draft amendment proposes to insert a site-specific qualification to allow Visitor Accommodation at 6 Johnsons Beach Road, Penguin.

    The Permit provides for demolition of existing buildings and construction of 40 short stay apartments, 21 three bedroom holiday cabins, a café/restaurant, a function centre with ancillary tennis court, car parking and manager’s residence.

    The draft amendment is proposed to insert a site-specific qualification (SSQ) applying to 19 Johns Street (folio of the Register 150770/8). The proposed SSQ adds Equipment and Machinery Sales and Hire to the list of Permitted Uses for the site. The applicable Use Table is NOR-S1.5.2 - Area 2 in NOR-S1.0 Translink Specific Area Plan.

    The permit provides for use and development of the land for Equipment and Machinery Sales and Hire and associated signage.
