Glenorchy IPS Amendment Delegation
The Commission delegated the assessment of Glenorchy LPS draft Amendment and permit PLS43A-21-03 to Claire Hynes, Dan Ford and Robin Nolan. The draft amendment seeks to rezone 263, 271 & 295 Main Road, Austins Ferry to General Residential Zone and apply 263,271 and 295 Main Road, Austins Ferry Specific Area Plan. The permit provides for demolition of a dwelling and construction of 42 multiple dwellings and upgrades to the emergency storage at a sewerage pumping station.
Local Provisions Schedules (LPS)
The Commission noted that the Tasmanian Planning Scheme was in operation in 12 municipalities following approval of LPSs. Hearings have been held or are scheduled or anticipated for 5 LPSs, and 7 LPSs are at various stages of the statutory assessment process. Of the remaining 5 LPSs, 4 are with the Commission for compliance assessment and one planning authority has not submitted a draft LPS for review.
