Since the Commission’s new website was launched in November 2020, documents relating to hearings and assessments can now be found on the website.
The Commission is continuing to make progress towards the replacement of iplan. It is hoped that migration of planning schemes to an alternative solution will begin in the second half of 2021.
Planning scheme information will also become available through the new PlanBuild Tasmania portal. The portal will allow a person to obtain relevant planning information for their proposed property development, through an enquiry on an address. The portal is being developed and initial functionality will be launched before the end of this year.
