Overview
Local Provisions Schedules (LPSs), together with the State Planning Provisions (SPPs), form the Tasmanian Planning Scheme for a municipal area. The Commission undertakes an assessment of a draft LPS to determine if it meets the LPS criteria under section 34 of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993.
The Commission has completed its assessment of the Southern Midlands LPS. The decision for Southern Midlands Local Provisions Schedule approval [2022] TASPComm 17 (21 April 2022) is available on the Austlii website.
