Overview
Local Provisions Schedules (LPSs), together with the State Planning Provisions (SPPs), form the Tasmanian Planning Scheme for a municipal area. The Commission undertakes an assessment of a draft LPS to determine if it meets the LPS criteria under section 34 of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993.
The Commission has completed its assessment of the Derwent Valley LPS. The decision for Derwent Valley Local Provisions Schedule approval [2025] TASPComm 6 (2 April 2025) (PDF, 4.82 MB) is available on the Austlii website.
