Overview

The draft amendment relates to land in the Glenorchy Central Business Area and includes:

  • rezoning land from Utilities Zone to Central Business Zone;
  • introducing a Pedestrian Priority Street overlay;
  • removing the written provisions and overlay for GLE-S8.0 Glenorchy Activity Centre Urban Design Specific Area Plan;
  • introducing written provisions and overlays for GLE-S8.0 Principal Activity Centre Specific Area Plan; and
  • introducing the document ‘Livable Housing Design Guidelines’ to GLE-Applied, Adopted or Incorporated Documents in the LPS written provisions.

The effective date is 13 March 2024.
