The Commission is phasing out the iPlan website, as the operating software is unable to be maintained to ensure the information provided is accurate.
The Commission is working towards delivering a new and improved online platform for publishing planning schemes, in conjunction with the PlanBuild Tasmania project, in early 2024.
From mid June 2023 until the launch of the new online platform, all current planning schemes, including the State Planning Provisions (SPPs) and all planning directives will be published on the Commission’s website. These electronic documents will be available in a bookmarked and searchable PDF format.
This means electronic versions of planning schemes will no longer be available on the iplan website from 30 June 2023. Users will be directed to the Commission’s website.
Zone and overlay mapping will be unaffected and will continue to be available from the LISTmap website (www.thelist.tas.gov.au). To support users, links to LISTmap mapping for each current planning scheme will also be available on the Commission website.
On 15 June 2023, the Commission will provide further information about how to find online planning schemes on the Commission’s website when the iplan website closes down.
