The purpose of the Planners Portal is to maximise the exchange and sharing of information.
The Planners Portal acts as a central resource to obtain clarification and information leading up to exhibition of a draft LPS.
The Planners Portal is intended to provide clarification and information on:
- the LPS requirements in the SPPs; and
- draft LPS preparation requirements set out in the Section 8A Guideline and Commission Practice Notes 5, 6, 7 and 8,
in accordance with its terms of reference (PDF, 202.9 KB).
Councils can seek guidance from the Commission by submitting questions to tpc@planning.tas.gov.au.
Responses are sorted in date order under each topic on the Questions and answers page.
For policy matters relating to the SPPs, Tasmanian Planning Policies, Regional Land Use Strategies, or the planning legislation, questions should be submitted to stateplanning@dpac.tas.gov.au.
