Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993 (former provisions)

The Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993 has been amended to provide for the Tasmanian Planning Scheme. The Act amendments (including the introduction of transitional arrangements) were effective on 17 December 2015.

Transitional arrangements mean that the former provisions of the Act will remain in force to allow for the consideration of amendments and combined permits and amendments to planning schemes and interim planning schemes. Where the former provisions are being relied upon, reference may be made to ‘the former provisions’.
