A direction from the Minister for the Primary Industries, Parks, Water and the Environment, the Hon D Llewellyn MP, was received on 26 October 2009 requesting the Commission review the representations and the report of the Secretary, Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and the Environment with reference to the Draft Plan.
As required under section 27(6) of the Water Management Act 1999, the Commission gives public notice (PDF: 12 KB | 1 page) in the Advocate, Examiner and Mercury newspapers on 31 October 2009 that copies of representations received and the Secretary's report are available for public inspection at the Break O'Day Council Chambers, the Commission’s Hobart office and on the Commission's website.
Once the Commission has completed its review, it will report to the Minister.
