Final Integrated Impact Statement (IIS)
Tasmanian Planning Commission Report
Australian Government - Minister for the Environment and Water Resources
Tasmanian Government - Premier
The Commission will notify Walker Corporation of any changes required to the IIS. Walker will amend the IIS and submit a Final Integrated Impact Statement. This step is required under the agreement between the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Tasmania where a project is being assessed by Tasmania in relation to matters of national environmental significance.
The Tasmanian Planning Commission will submit a final report to the Tasmanian Premier.
The Commission will also send its report to the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Water Resources. The Department will consider the report by the Commission and give its report to the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources. The Minister for the Environment and Water Resources will consider the report of his Department and decide whether or not to grant an approval.
The Tasmanian Premier will consider the report from the Commission and make a decision on whether to recommend to the Governor the making of an order fixing conditions under which the project can proceed.
