Inquiry into the establishment of a marine protected area within the Davey and Twofold Shelf Bioregions

The Commission submitted a Final Recommendations Report (PDF: 6.79 MB / 192 pages) to the Minister for Primary Industries, Water and Environment on 31 July 2003.

As a result of the enquiry two marine reserves have been established by the Tasmanian Government:

• Kent Group Marine Nature Reserve;
• Port Davey/Bathurst Harbour Marine Nature Reserve.
