Review of representations and the Director's Report on Southport Lagoon Conservation Area, George III Monument Historic Site and Ida Bay State Reserve Draft Management Plan 2005

On 9 January 2006 the Minister for Parks and Heritage, the Hon Judy Jackson, MHA, directed the Commission to review the representations and the report of the Director of National Parks and Wildlife with reference to the Draft Plan.

As required under section 23(1) of the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002, the Commission gave public notice in the Advocate, Examiner and Mercury newspapers on 21 January 2006 that copies of representations received and the Director’s report were available for public inspection at the Commission’s Hobart office, the Commission's website and the Huon Valley Council Municipal Offices, 40 Main Street, Huonville.

The Commission has completed its review and reported to the Minister. The report can be viewed and downloaded as a pdf file:
