Development of Environmental Guidelines for any New Bleached Eucalypt Kraft Pulp Mill in Tasmania
Background
On 19 November 2003 the Tasmanian Government formally appointed the Resource Planning and Development Commission (the Commission) to undertake a review of the Commonwealth Environmental Guidelines for New Bleached Eucalypt Kraft Pulp Mills 1995 (the 1995 Commonwealth Guidelines) and develop recommended new environmental guidelines for any new bleached eucalypt kraft pulp mill in Tasmania (the Tasmanian Guidelines).
