Deputy Premier, Steven Kons, has announced the appointment of Greg Alomes to the position of Executive Commissioner and Chairman of the Resource Planning and Development Commission (now the Tasmanian Planning Commission).
Mr Alomes has worked in local government, and has significant experience as a consultant in the fields of strategic and business planning processes, project management, change management, organisational audits, management reviews and performance appraisals.
He took up the appointment on 3 March 2008, and his current appointment is for a term of 5 years until 10 May 2014.
